Can you tell I like doing live episodes of My Dining Room Table? Because I really do. I’m all for the one-on-one repartee at my actual dining room table, witty discourse, mining an individual’s psyche, blah, blah, blah, but any chance I can get to take the show on the road and perform it live in front of an audience, I’ll take it. Because let’s face it, I need the attention. I’m a comedian, I enjoy performing in front of live audiences, and if I can just sit down and chat with people I like front of a crowd, well, I’m a pig in shit.

Pig. In. Shit.

The Denver Post Underground Music Showcase recently afforded me my latest opportunity to swine it up in my own filth, as I sat down with some of my favorite musicians at Adrift on South Broadway as part of the four-day music festival that annually invades my beloved Baker neighborhood. Twas a blast. You should follow all of the musicians on this episode. They are, in order, Aaron Collins of A. Tom Collins, Rob Burleson of Spells, Nathaniel Valdez and Eric Anthony Riley of In The Whale, Chella Negro of Chella Negro and The Charm and Ned Garthe of The Ned Garthe Explosion. A great time was had by all. Special shout-outs to Adrift for having us, Kendall Smith for running the UMS and having me be a part, and Oliver Howard for the superior sound engineering in a chaotic, outdoor setting.
