The Sklar Brothers are amazing. Randy and Jason are two of the funniest comics I know and watching them perform together is always such a goddamn treat. Getting to sit down with them for an hour and have a heart to heart? A double goddman treat. It’s like when you get an ice cream cone with your favorite type of ice cream on it and then the cool kid with the mustache working the counter at the artisanal vegan ice cream shop that always has a line around the block is like, “Hey sir! You forgot this!” And then he just up and plops another delicious scoop on there! That’s how great chatting with the Sklars is. I have had the honor of having them on our little comedy show that could The Grawlix not once, not twice, but thrice and I was recently able to appear on their amazing podcast Sklarboro Country, which if you have not listened to you should. It’s a great introduction to these guys and their world of jokes and sports and indie rock. And really what’s better than that? It’s like a third scoop of ice cream. Or maybe even a fourth. Or maybe even as awesome as the author abandoning this clumsy ice cream analogy and getting to the goddamn podcast. Which this author has no problem doing. Because this was one of our best episodes yet. Dare I say best? Well you’ll just have to listen won’t you?
